Course Structure and Overview
Classes are classroom based and taught by Certified Specialized Oracle University Instructors. Each student is provided a workstation enabling them to experience “hands-on” primavera training. The training courses includes P6 Training Manuals from Oracle University and a Certificate of Completion from Oracle University.

Course Descriptions & Fees
Primavera P6 Professional Fundamentals (client)
This course content is appropriate for students seeking training for Release 6, Release 6.2, Release 7 & Release 8.
This course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s client/server-based solution, leading participants through the entire project life cycle, from planning to execution. Students will create a project, build a work break down structure, add activities, create relationships, assign resources, analyze schedule dates and resource allocation, execute the project plan, and create reports.
Course Level: Entry to expert needing P6 Application Training
Targeted Role: Program Managers, Project Managers, Planners/Schedulers
Additional audiences: Existing project management module users. Existing P3e/c, Enterprise, and TeamPlay users.
NOTE: This is a standard, software functionality-based class.
Primavera P6 Professional Advanced (client)
This course provides in-depth resource management and project management training in Primavera P6 Professional client/server based solution. Resource management topics include manual allocation, bucket planning, and leveling. Project management topics include earned value analysis, advanced scheduling, and timescaled logic diagrams. This Primavera P6 training course is also offered in a live virtual format.
Course Level: Advanced
Targeted Role: Program Managers, Project Managers, Administrators, Planners/Schedulers.
Additional audiences: Existing project management module users. Existing P3e/c, Enterprise, and TeamPlay users. NOTE: This is a standard, software functionality-based class. Industry specific offerings/examples are not included in standard classes.
Project Management Fundamentals – P6 Web
Students will create a project, add activities and relationships, assign resources, adjust the project plan to account for schedule delays and over allocated resources, and analyze portfolios. Participants also will learn how to customize the Personal Workspace and the Project Workspace to monitor project progress and communicate with team members. Enhanced risk management and project templates — new for P6 Release 8 — are covered. BI and BPM are not covered in this primavera training course.
The course is divided into five sections: Overview and Creating a Project; Scheduling the Project and Managing Data; Assigning Resources and Baselining; Project Execution and Control; and Project Closeout and Advanced Topics.
Course CM201 – Contract Management
This course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s web-based solution. During this three-day course, participants will learn project cost control and document management.
Course Level: Basic
Targeted Role: Contract & Project Administrators, Contract Managers, Project Controls Managers.
Additional audiences: Existing Primavera Expedition and Primavera Contract Manager users. NOTE: This is a standard, software functionality-based class. Industry specific offerings/examples are not included in standard classes.
Course 700 – Primavera Contractor
This course provides hands-on training for contractors. It examines how to plan, schedule, control, and analyze projects.
